Bloody Mary
Part X

- The Ghost with the Candle
October 28, 2005

My friends and I used to hang out in this park, usually after dark. We would always see this girl, about our age (we were like thirteen at the time), walking around and not talking to anyone. She always had a candle. She would stop by some people, and her lips would like move, but she never said anything. Then she would like walk away. So, one night my friends and I asked the girl if she would like to hang out. But she didn't reply. Then we said we were going to one of our homes to have pizza, and she smiled. Then she nodded, and we assumed she wanted to hang out. So we took her with us when we went to have pizza.

But while we were eating and watching videos, we noticed the girl didn't eat but rather kept staring into the mirror. That gave us the idea to call up Bloody Mary, the Mirror Witch, thinking maybe the new girl would get a kick out of it. And so we did. Big Mistake! Bloody Mary appeared almost at once, and grabbed the girl from the park, the one with the candle, and pulled her into the mirror. The girl never screamed or anything. We were all SOOOO scared! We thought certain Bloody Mary would murder the girl from the park. But we were wrong. We could see into the mirror that Bloody Mary was hugging the girl and wiping away her tears. Then they both turned to wave to us. Then they disappeared.

I will always believe the girl from the park was Bloody Mary's missing daughter, and that we had returned her to her mother and brought her home. How she came to be out of the mirror I don't know. All I know is I haven't called up Bloody Mary since.

- Bloody Mary (NOT written by me)
October 28, 2005

I am a Granny now and NOT the little girl I am writing about. I am like really, really old, like ninety-nine years old, and have gray hair and wrinkles. And a moustache. I also keep my teeth in a glass of water by my bed.

A very long time ago, when there were like horses and stuff and everything was in black and white, I was like thirteen years old and sleeping over at my friend's house. We were like watching ghost stories on TV and then telling ghost stories of our own. But we got scared, so we thought we would go to sleep. So, we went into the bathroom to brush our teeth and stuff. While we were in the bathroom, staring at the mirror, we decided to call Bloody Mary, the Mirror Witch. So, we lit a black candle and started calling her with, "Bloody Mary, come here now!" I don't know how many times we called her, but it was a lot. All of a sudden Bloody Mary appeared.

No lie! My friend laughed at her and said Bloody Mary sure was ugly! Well, Bloody Mary got super pad-off at that, and reached out for my friend. But my friend ducked, so instead Bloody Mary got hold of my other friend (did I mention I had two friends?). Bloody Mary twisted my other friend's neck until her head got twisted off. Then Bloody Mary dragged her dead body and head into the mirror. Then she like started to eat them, like a cannibal! I swear it is true! There was blood everywhere, and my other friend got sick. My friend and I tried to send Bloody Mary back to where she came from, but couldn't remember the words to, "Bloody Mary, go back now!" and so we ran away to hide.

My friend and I discussed what to do, like should we tell, but since her dad works for a bowling place and at the airport, and so drinks a lot and beats people up. And since the girl whose head got twisted off was a runaway (and whose name we didn't even know), we figured the best thing to do was just to forget about it. And so we cleaned up the mess and went to sleep. And until this very minute no one has ever learned the terrible truth about Bloody Mary. I swear I will never forget what happened that night, even if I live to be a hundred!

Please make sure this gets in with all the other TRUE stories! Thank you.

- Bloody Mary Trick I Played
November 11, 2005

I am in the 6th grade. Because I am the biggest kid in my class, it is easy for me to scare the other kids. I told them there was a girl in our school who was a witch. Everyone was afraid of her, because of that "Carrie" movie. She got angry at some kids and went to a Cajun man to help her get even. The Cajun man told her about Bloody Mary, and made to show her a mirror. The girl held a candle and when she looked into the mirror, the Cajun man used voodoo to push her into the mirror, trapping her forever. And then the Cajun man put the mirror in our school. And now we can see her. We light a candle and she stares at us, her mouth moving. But her name isn't Mary. That is the story I told the kids in my class, who are all like eleven years old.
