Who's There?
Hello to you all. My name is Becca and I live in Livermore. One day in Alabama while on vacation, I was sitting on my couch watching the rain fall outside. The TV was on and I was home alone. All of a sudden, the TV turned off. I thought the power was out, but I looked around and some lights were still on. I got a little creeped out, but then continued to watch the rain. Then the phone rang, so I got up to answer it. I walked over to the phone, put my hand over it to pick it up and it made this really loud noise like someone screaming. I quickly pull my hand away from the phone. I was really freaked out. I went to sit down again, and then I hear a faint cry. The phone rings again, so I go to pick it up. I pick it up and then on the other line it starts to ring like I'm calling someone. I had no idea what was going on, and I still don't know what it was. When I got home from the vacation, I was looking at some pictures I took, and in the background of a couple of them, there is a white ghostly stripe flowing across the picture.
The Voice
One day I was lying in my bed. I was so scared because I could not wath TV anymore. It was so quiet. All of a sudden I heard this noise. It sounded like foot steps. I heard someone say, "Hi!" It could not be any one in my house cause everyone in my house was sleeping. I said, "Who said that." But no one answered. I then heard more footsteps walking back out of my room. I was so terrified. I really did not know what to do. I think I just pulled the covers up to my neck and layed there frozen like a log. Jasmine from Tacoma has not known to this day what was said, heard or done. She still has nightmares when it is Halloween month.
Night-Steps
One day at my house it was about 1:00 am on my 13 birthday. You see my brother died in 1994 in my house and I kept hearing these footsteps and I thought it was somebody going to the bathroom, well I went up there and my parents, and my brothers where fast asleep. I told my dad the next day and he said it was probley your brother walking around. He said almost every night he'd open doors and walk around the house checking on everyone. Man, I still freak out since he told me that! Ashley from Tiffin
Haunted House
Come around the campfire if you want to hear this tale for Caitlin Coody of Skiatook, Oklahoma has a tale they want to tell you. I live in a two story house, white in color, a small town. The story goes like this. There once lived an old women and old men who used to live in our house. One day the women went out side to water her plants. Well over a peroid of time she went missing. The old men went out to look for her. He did not want to go to the tower but something caught his eye. So off he went to the tower. When he got there he found she was lying on the ground dead. He was so distraught on what he saw that he killed hisself over her. To this day you can see footprints on your ceiling. Every Halloween these footprints are visible to all to see. Even if the ceiling has been painted they are still there.
Arrow's Goodbye
Hedy Baer from Lithonia, Georgia has a tale to tell, so sit right back and listen. Back in September of 1991 our sweet old Doberman named Arrow died. Our whole family was heartbroken, as she had lived for over thirteen years when she died and she had been ours since she was a tiny puppy. We had a long hallway in our house and my room was across from my parent’s room. Now when Arrow was alive she had a habit of sleeping at night in the hall in between the doors to our rooms, right in the middle, it was her way of protecting us up until the last. Well about 2-3 weeks after her death, we were all still heartbroken missing her. It was about 2:45 in the morning and both of my parents were asleep and I had been watching an old movie on TV. Well I heard a familiar kind of yawn stretch doggy sound that she used to do when she needed to go out. I was really sleepy and for a minute I had totally blocked it out of my mind that she was dead. I went to the bedroom door to go and let her outside to potty, and when I opened my door there she sat looking absolutely beautiful as she always did but something about her kind of glowed, not scary or anything. Then suddenly it hit me, she was dead! I freaked out and blinked my eyes and when I opened them she was still there. Almost instantaneously she faded away and I never saw her again. I think she was letting us know that she was young and spry again and happy. I ran across the hall and woke up my parents and told them about it and my mother believed me as she had felt her presence as well on a different night though she did not actually see her. It was quite an experience. It freaked me out totally for a while but I know it was a good energy with no harm meant.
Non-Existence
This little story happened in the town of San Clemente. Denise was trick or treating on Halloween night with a bunch of her friends. While Denise was going around with the other kids she saw a little girl on a trampoline. The other kids in her group did not notice this little girl at all. When Denise looked back to tell the other kids about that little girl she was gone. So Denise did not tell any one about this. On the way back home Denise saw the same little girl on the trampoline bouncing up and down. Again when she turned her head to tell the others the little girl was gone again. Once Denise got home she asked her parents about the house that the little girl was trampolining on. They told her that no one had lived in that house for a little over a year cause the family had moved out when the little girl died from an injury from the trampoline. To this day Denise is the only one to see this little girl on the trampoline every Halloween.
Attack of The Monkey
One dark and stormy night Sugar Face was walking home in a dark, dank alley. It was Halloween night and this alley was usually the place that Sugar Face would always walk home in. All of a sudden Sugar Face heard a creepy voice behind her saying "thriller". She wanted to break out in dance, but at the same time she was to creeped out to even try. Then she noticed her hand was covered in a white leather glove and a red zipper jacket was on her. Sugar Face than started to dance which seemed like forever. Anyway, all of a sudden this weirdo monkey jumped out of a window on her. It was screaming "groom me, freak". Sugar Face was really confused, but decided to groom the monkey. All of a sudden it turned to sand and she had sand in my mouth. She had to go home and wash her face and some of the sand that got into her mouth. This is one of the scary stories that has been coming out of Cleveland.
